This is how you get started

Discover a seamless way to test allergies with our innovative S.P.A.T. device.

1. Setup

Start a new test by loading 12 sterile lancets into the S.P.A.T. device. Select the forearm to be pricked, choose the allergens and enter the correct patient information.

2. Pricking and imaging

Present the patient’s arm to the S.P.A.T. to start the prick test. Once finished, wait 15 minutes before taking the images. During this time, a new prick test with the next patient can be performed. Start the imaging process after aligning the pricked spots with the green dots on the screen.

3. Digital results

The images will be automatically available for review in the Web Viewer, together with an aggregated composite image. Annotate the images with the test results and export the PDF report as you wish.

How can the Web Viewer be accessed?

The Web Viewer is an intuitive online portal that provides physicians with the prick test images performed with S.P.A.T. It is accessible within the hospital's local network through a convenient desktop shortcut.

What is a digital prick test report?

The Web Viewer generates a PDF report for each test, providing a detailed overview of the conducted prick test. By utilising advanced artificial intelligence, the Web Viewer software seamlessly combines 35 digital images into a single composite image. This enables physicians to store results within the patient's file digitally, ensuring record-keeping.

How can the results be integrated into the EPD (Electronic Patient Dossier)?

The PDF reports can be imported manually into the EPD. The Web Viewer also contains a text summary of the test that can be copy-pasted into the clinical report.

Where is the data generated by the S.P.A.T. stored?

All the generated data by S.P.A.T. is temporarily stored on the device for processing and annotating. The device has a storage capacity for 1200 prick tests. The hospital is responsible for storing and archiving the PDF reports into the patient's file.

What are the technical requirements for the installation in the hospital?

We will provide you well in advance with an overview of all requirements ensuring a smooth installation. To establish connectivity, S.P.A.T. needs to be connected to the hospital network using an Ethernet cable. Therefore, it is important to ensure network compatibility and power connection.
