Hippo Dx, a MedTech startup, was born in 2020 out of the need for automation, standardisation, and digitisation in skin prick allergy testing. Today, 30% of the world's population suffers from allergies, but 45% face initial misdiagnosis. The limitation of manual testing prompted Senne Gorris, an ENT surgeon, to envision an innovative solution. Joined by a team of mechatronics and software engineers, they developed S.P.A.T. (Skin Prick Automated Test), a state-of-the-art medical device for allergy testing. Developed by physicians and designed for patients, S.P.A.T. offers faster, more accurate, and more consistent allergy testing.

About the role

As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in customer acquisition, building and expanding relationships with hospitals and medical professionals conducting allergy tests. Your operating region is Wallonia, with an optional focus on Flanders. Fluency in French is essential, and proficiency in Dutch is favorable. This role is tailored for a dynamic and proactive individual who excels in both new customer acquisition and account management.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identifying and pursuing business opportunities and acquiring new customers to expand our customer base in Wallonia.

Presenting product demonstrations and educating potential customers on the advantages of our solution.

Sending quotations and product information to potential customers.

Implementing account plans tailored to the regional market to achieve sales targets.

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, actively addressing their needs, and gathering feedback on their experience with our solution.

Communicating customer and market feedback effectively to our product manager and other internal stakeholders.

Maintaining the sales pipeline in our CRM ensuring it is up to date.

About you

Dream profile

Fluent in French (spoken and written), with proficiency in Dutch.

A minimum of 10 years of experience as an Account Manager within the healthcare industry, with a focus on Wallonia.

An existing network within the healthcare sector in Wallonia.

Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, along with strong social and interpersonal abilities.

Results-driven with a commitment to exceeding sales targets.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Bachelor's degree in a commercial field.
